Breaking Free From the Four Traps
Every young person faces challenges — we call them the traps. At Saved From the Trap, we identify these challenges and provide faith-based solutions to overcome them.

Depression, loneliness, and low self-esteem can weigh heavy on the mind. At SFT, we encourage positive activities, new hobbies, and a renewed mindset rooted in faith.
Scripture: Romans 8:6 — “The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.”

Many youth grow up surrounded by hopelessness, trauma, and negative influences. We teach that no matter your surroundings, there is always a way out through faith, hard work, and vision.
Scripture: 2 Kings 2:19 — “Look, our Lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.”

The pressure to fit in can lead to poor choices and fear of rejection. We encourage youth to surround themselves with friends who uplift, hold them accountable, and reflect God’s love.
Scripture: Proverbs 1:10 — “My son, if sinful men entice you, do not give in to them.”
1 Timothy 4:12 — “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.”
