THA MISSION
Empowering youth to overcome mental health challenges, negative environments, peer pressure, and social media influences. Khristopher Scott, known by the kids and volunteers as Mr. K, is the Founder and Executive
Director of Saved from the Trap, a faith-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth to
rise above mental health struggles, negative environments, peer pressure, and social media
influences. Inspired by Romans 12:2, his mission is to help youth transform their lives through God’s love and purpose.
With more than a decade of experience in youth advocacy, Mr. K has developed programs that
combine mentorship, trauma-informed care, and holistic support for young people, including
those impacted by exploitation and difficult home situations. Under his leadership, Saved from
the Trap has expanded to serve both boys and girls through in-facility initiatives, summer
mentorships, and community-based programs.
Mr. K continues to seek partnerships, mentors, and supporters to help build brighter futures
and empower the next generation with confidence, faith, and purpose.
